What customers say

This tidy site gets the nod for spotless, modern loos and showers. Staff are grand, helpful types. Pitches are roomy, it's quiet, and a perfect spot for walks with a pub nearby. Dogs get a great shout for walks opposite. Wi-Fi's a few quid.

Electric hardstanding touring pitch

Liked Stopped on this site during the August bank Holiday weekend. Despite the site being very busy, it was spotlessly clean. It was busy during the day with children playing and families doing different things but was very quiet at night, so much so, you could hear the wildlife. The toilet facilities are brilliant. Went for a shower and was impressed to discover that the showers were actually your own private wet room, with loo, sink and shower, again, all spotless. Didn't have much contact with the staff but those we did speak to were very pleasant and helpful. Nice pub at end of the lane and Hardwick Hall is a nice walk away. Lots of countryside to explore.

Disliked The pitch was a little smaller than we would normally prefer, but as already stated, the site was full, so it probably felt tight for that reason.

Electric hardstanding touring pitch

Liked We loved it here. had a lovely relaxed weekend with my partner and our 2 children. Nice park for the kids. Little shop on site with a few bits and bobs. 2 minutes walk to a pub on corner we only had a drink in there but food looked nice. The best thing was the toilets and showers. They were immaculate, and I have OCD. The best ive seen on any canpsite ive been too. These are very spacious nice and warm blasting showers. Was perfect weather too just to top it off for us. Will definitely be back again.

Disliked Would love to beable to have a camp fire. That's one part I enjoy most at night canping is a little camp fire. But site doesnt allow. Other than that nothing we enjoyed it.

Electric hardstanding touring pitch

Liked We can’t recommend this campsite highly enough! The staff are absolutely fantastic—friendly, welcoming, and always helpful. The pitches are incredibly spacious, set in a beautiful location just a two-minute walk from a great pub. There are endless scenic walks nearby, which we thoroughly enjoyed with both the kids and the dogs. Everything was spotless, and the toilet facilities were the cleanest and nicest we’ve ever experienced at a campsite. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!
