Grand spot behind the Thames Head Inn, praised for lovely grub and sound staff. Pitches decent with EHU. Good for Cotswolds jaunts. Only one toilet/shower, can get busy. Some road noise, but ideal for a stopover, most would head back.

Liked Great stopover for a few days, the food in the pub is restaurant quality and plenty of walks if you have a dog. The shower is a little dated but it works.

There are plenty of stately homes near The Thames Head Inn if you want to get a feel for the history of the area, with Newark Park, Sudeley Castle, Dyrham Park, Bowood House and Berkeley Castle all within 45 minutes’ drive of the site.
