Pola de Somiedo, Asturias, Spain
Power optional grass campervan campsite
Liked Location in town surrounded by mountains was wonderful. It was possible to buy bread on site. Toilets and shower facilities good.
Disliked Very poor welcome as they could not find our booking even though all paid on Pitchup. We were then shown to a pitch which was not a proper pitch in front of a caravan pitch and where we needed to move the campervan to allow others to get out of their pitches. I know that they were busy but we were not felt to feel welcome and the staff appeared very grumpy for our stay.

Liked Very friendly reception. Large pitch. Good toilet and shower facilities. Also good washing machine (need to get jeton from reception). Lots of information provided in reception about buses to city which we used and it was great. Good swimming pool.
Disliked Electric point for pitch was too far away for our extension so we needed to move the Campervan in the pitch for it to reach. Not a lot of shade.

Primitive grass campsite
Liked Quiet, no fuss clean site with toilet and shower. Excellent location for going to Dover port. Pub next door but closed when we were there.
Disliked Lanes quite narrow to site, about 2 miles but mainly straight and some passing places. Sloping field but OK with chocks. There were bees in the bathroom which were a bit off-putting.

From the manager: Thanks for your review the pub is very good but normally closed on Monday and Tuesdays Bees have gone now, I think they were attracted by the plant flowering outside the bathroom so I have cut the flowers off
