What customers say
A friendly, laid-back, and peaceful site with a chill vibe, loved for its prime location. Reviewers rave about the level pitches, great showers, and the charm of resident chickens and ducks. It's a short stroll to the village, steam train, and local brewery. Facilities are a bit basic for some, but generally clean, well-kept, with ongoing upgrades. Owners are super welcoming and helpful.

Liked A friendly welcome for our first visit. The site is so peaceful and calm, we were so lucky to have glorious weather and did note that the sun was upon us all day. Facilities are basic and clean. Location is fantastic with some great pubs and a brewery close by. There are lovely chickens clucking around so beware when driving in!

Excellent, peaceful and quiet.
Powered grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Spacious pitches, wonderfully peaceful and surrounded by woodland which was home to a variety of wild birds. Great to see the sites chickens roaming freely and the geese going to the pond. Our check in was very welcoming and hassle free and we loved the location being a five minute walk from the steam railway. Showers were clean and well kept and plenty of recycling/rubbish bins to keep site tidy. Price per night was really good and not far from local shop for supplies.
Disliked Appeared to be only one gents toilet - not really a problem when quiet but not sure how this would be during busy periods?
