Liked: Everything was wonderful, the park was lovely and clean. The facilities were outstanding. We were put close to the facilities as requested. The staff in the bar were friendly and bubbly. The entertainment was a joy to attend in the evening.

Powered grass campsite

Liked: There were lots of things for the children to do no matter the weather. Indoor soft play, arcades, parks, crazy golf and the pool. The morning groups for the children were lots of fun too. But our highlight was seeing Funky monkey after the children’s discos in the evening.

Disliked: Nothing.

The toilets and shower blocks were always clean and ready to be used. And here was plenty of room to wash up.

Liked: Great site, nice and clean, the pool was amazing nice and big. Great sized pitches fitted our caravan, awning and car with ease.

Disliked: Only issues we had was only 2hr swim slot when there was plenty of room in the pool to stay longer.

Liked: Amazing time and the staff members are all so welcoming. We have been once before and just got back off our holiday today. Sad to be home.

Disliked: Nothing but if i had to pick something i would say the park would benefit more with an indoor pool

Powered grass campsite

Liked: Everything. The resort was a perfect safe and enjoyable environment for kids to have a wonderful holiday. The entertainment providedfor kids and families was second to none. Particularly the host who did the bingo and talent nights. The toilets and showers were the best i have ever-been too on a campsite being cleaned every hour. Pitches were spacious, staff understanding and helpfull. Overall a fantastic holiday

Disliked: Prices of food in the take away outlets and restaurant/bar. Over £5 for 1 large chips at the fish shop and large breakfast over £15 at the restaurant. For families that are on a budget eating on site at facilities maybe a 1/2 day experience over a 7 day holiday. No wifi including using your own data (black spot) further than the pitches just outside reception/entertainment villiage. We was in the firs and we could not connect to either.

Local attractions

Cornwall’s coastline and beaches are pretty much legendary, but Newquay (10 minutes) is world-famed for its surf and nightlife too. It’s a party town from daybreak until well after dark and the surf's so good they hold international competitions here – check out Fistral Beach and Watergate Bay. Perranporth (10 minutes) is the place to head for a more relaxed beach day, though it’s very popular so best to get your towel down early. The beach here is a fab spot for dog walking, rolling up the trousers for a paddle or lazing around and copping a look at the views. The Eden Project (35 minutes) has the UK’s most realistic rainforest, full of rare plant species and exotic butterflies, as well as a pretty nifty Mediterranean biome. Daredevils can also have a go on England’s longest zipwires – or head over to Flambards in Helston (45 minutes) for flumes, rollercoasters and go karting.
