What customers say
A relaxed, friendly, "back to basics" campground with great views. Guests enjoy the communal bar, fire pits, and helpful staff. Facilities are basic, with portable toilets, and cleanliness can vary. Some mention long grass or party noise, others find it peaceful. Popular for value and social atmosphere.

More suited for wild campers. Wellies a must!
Primitive grass campervan, tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Quirky place, cool bar and food on site. Friendly staff, dog friendly.
Disliked Paid for a decent pitch with room for a gazebo ended up on a uneven muddy field barely adequate for a tent. Been on much better sites for half the price.

Primitive grass campervan, tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Lovely chilled site, exactly as described. Perfect if all you need is a field, a loo and cold clean running water - which does us just fine. We stayed 4 nights mid week, fantastic location just 15 mins from Halifax and Hebden, visited Piece Hall and a lovely trip to the MANY cafes in Hebden! Walks on your doorstep - we did Stoodley Pike, fab views. We only wish we were staying for the weekend as the little bar looked ace and we would have loved the live music - good excuse to come back I reckon.

Primitive grass campervan, tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Really friendly atmosphere. Back to basics campsite with loads of lovely people! Gorgeous little bar with ace beer!
I had read reviews about the toilets being bad but when I was there they were serviced regularly and were well stocked. They also had hand sinks and hand soap! Ace for a portaloo
Disliked Off lead dogs was a bit of a pain. There are plenty of signs around so not the campsites fault!
