What customers say
A beloved, no-frills site with a friendly vibe & great rural views. Staff are praised, as is the on-site bar, entertainment, & fire pits. Basic facilities are fine for short stays. Some mention noise on busy weekends & wish for better washrooms for longer trips. Unique, informal atmosphere shines.

Would deffo go back there again, especially for the music festival
Primitive grass tent, campervan or trailer tent campsite
Liked Had no idea it was a music festival weekend when we turned x up.........absalutly brilliant, mix of music, from hills billiea to indie and rock......the bar on camp was great, stocked with plenty of drinks......beer garden, and benches of plenty.....was told to pitch where ever there was room, choice of three fields.....there is a cafe style food place beside the bar ....amazing aphmosphere
Disliked The drinks were a bit pricey, 7 quid a double rum and coke. Pitch price a bit much at 25 a night when no showers or EHU. grass of field was fairly long so once it rained feet got soaked portaloos were pretty bad after a few hours.

Primitive grass tent, campervan or trailer tent campsite
Liked The location was fantastic. There was a little music festival on. If you wanted to go listen too. Host were very helpful
Disliked Portaloo toilet were awful. Leave the imagination to you. Only one water stand pipe for drinking on the whole of the site. I asked for a quiet area, unfortunately the neighbours were quite loud.
