What customers say
This well-kept campsite has spacious sites, friendly, helpful staff, and a cozy on-site pub with popular wood-fired pizzas. Guests rave about the beautiful location, amazing views, and nearby walking trails. Facilities are mostly clean, with private toilet and shower units standing out. Minor complaints of occasional traffic noise and some older facilities are usually outweighed by the great overall experience and desire to return.

Liked The location
Disliked The toilet / showers where not clean & the ELSAN facility was full to overflowing

Comfortable.
Powered grass campsite
Liked Plenty of pitches to choose from. The location was good.
Disliked We used the showers near the entrance and these did not have anywhere to put things down on or sit on to put socks and shoes on. The one I used did have 3 hooks and a toilet in but the others in this block were not like that. Take a bag to put your stuff in whilst you’re in the shower.
There were also no hairdryers so I had to crouch under the hand dryer to dry my hair.
There’s also no shelves at the sinks so nowhere to put your toothbrush or make up down.

Primitive grass campsite
Liked Flat pitches with plenty of room. Nice little welcoming bar on site! Good location to explore the dales. Clean showers and toilets. Plenty of hot water.
Disliked Showers on very short timer tap, needs to keep being be pressed constantly. Quite near main road, was busy during day though not really a problem at night.
