What customers say
Good campsite, friendly staff, great clean facilities (hot showers!). Spacious pitches, stunning views, handy bar with popular pizza. Perfect for walks & exploring Dales. A few cleanliness hiccups when busy & road noise by A65, but mostly very positive, people want to come back.

Liked Great site with lots of room, facilities were clean. Great location.
Disliked Not a dislike but given that it seems a popular site with families a play park for the younger children would be a good addition.

Electric gravel and hardstanding touring pitch
Liked The pizza and bar
Disliked Toilet blocks not the cleanest , rowdy late night campers despite the 10:30pm quiet time and areas of the site were unkept .

Electric grass pitch
Liked Very clean tidy site. Also great to have an on-site bar.
Disliked Kids kicking ball about when it said no ball games. If had been busier there’d have been a few battered cars. Also music and loud party well after 11.30. Wouldn’t stop me from visiting again but welcome sheet tells everyone the rules. Some just don’t read it.

Electric grass pitch
Liked What a brilliant little campsite!
We stayed here as a group ranging from 72 to 3 years old, with a mixture of tents, campervans and pods — and four dogs, so we really had every base covered! The site was lovely, and the toilets and showers were exceptionally clean.
The pub was fantastic, and the pizzas were absolutely brilliant. The location was also great, with easy access to local caves, swimming waterfalls, villages and plenty of lovely pubs.
We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, and the campsite staff couldn’t have done enough for us. They really went above and beyond to make our stay memorable.
We would definitely go back and would highly recommend this campsite!

Toilet blocks and showers adequate but very busy weekend and should be done more frequently
Cant help the messy ones sadly
Washing up facilities very good
Could do with a designated football area
Very enjoyable stay other than that and as I say I think it was fully booked
Plenty of good walking and on the borders of Forest of Bowland
Disliked Having to leave

A great stay with greta facilities.…
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked A great stay with greta facilities. I wish we arrived earlier so we could use the bar as it looked wonderful as well as the shop. Everything was laid out very clearly and the facilities were great and cleaned the next morning. The check in staff provided a map and there was plenty of space to pitch. A lovely addition was the dog exercise area that we made plenty of use from. We will definitely be returning.
