The Hop Farm is named south east’s top-selling site by Pitchup.com

The Hop Farm in Tonbridge has been named by Pitchup.com as its top-selling site in the south east for 2014.
The figures, compiled from Pitchup.com’s bookings for 1,050 camping and caravan sites throughout the UK and Europe, show that the park took 360 bookings in 2014 making it the top-selling site in the south east, beating off stiff competition from 98 other sites in the region. In total the south east received 2.1 million searches on Pitchup.com in 2014, putting it among the most popular searches on the website.
Dan Yates, founder of outdoor accommodation specialist Pitchup.com, commented: “The Hop Farm is one of our larger sites and a particularly popular one owing to its great facilities and adjoining family attraction. Kent is one of the best destinations in the UK in which to enjoy an outdoor holiday, and I’m sure The Hop Farm will continue to prosper long into the future.”
The Hop Farm is a large touring site offering over 300 pitches for tents, tourers and motorhomes. It’s one of Pitchup.com’s leading family sites due to the vast choice of activities and attractions right on the doorstep. These include the site’s own ‘Hop Farm Family Park’ where campers can enter for free and take advantage of the adventure playground and crazy golf. The park also features other rides and an animal attraction. Furthermore the site is home to the world’s largest collection of traditional Kentish oast houses and with the River Medway running right through the centre visitors are welcome to fish or kayak.
