Positiv Tranquil and a break from the hustle and bustle, pitch where you like and enjoy the freedom, nice comms from the owner via the phone checking everything was okay as they was away, someone did pop round again checking if all was good which it was, a mile walk to a pub which served food, it’s a no frills site which is my preferred stay so make sure you’ve got good lights in the evening/night, couple of toilets which serve their purpose, we really enjoyed the place and would definitely go back, thank you for a lovely much needed break 🙏👍

Negativ Shower could be a bit better but wasn’t a deal breaker

Positiv Excellent open area with plenty of space between pitches, good clean toilets and showers, a good play area for kids, dog friendly (on the lead), nice little licensed bar and good choice of ice lollies, definitely recommend the boozy slush puppies , nice friendly people running the place 👍

Positiv An absolute pleasure of a stay, nice and secluded place, wonderful facilities, picnic benches, fire pit, spotless and clean, great little farm shop with an honesty box, short drive to wonderful places around there, friendly owners who make you feel very welcome 👌

Positiv Spacious pitches, all onsite facilities were clean, manager always on the lookout making sure everyone is fine (top fella)

Positiv What more could you ask for, it’s a campsite which gets you back to basics, spacious pitches which is well maintained, toilets spotless and a communal room for pot washing and rest area, nice little access from campsite for a walk alongside the river swale, going back as soon as we can 👍👍
