Positiv Everything, the ‘choose your own pitch’ , the friendly reception staff, the close proximity to local town, the river running alongside the campsite for swimming and paddle boarding etc. So glad we ignored other negative reviews, regarding outdated facilities, it has everything you need. A great find.

Positiv Such a friendly welcome, generous pitch sizes, good clean facilities. Pétanque pitch available, chickens to feed, bakery items available to order. We had a lovely canal side stroll into town to the Thursday Market. Peaceful and charming

Positiv Great base for visiting Normandy, easy to find from Caen port. Hedge lined pitches which felt like to had your own garden. Short walk into Bayeux from campsite. Secure entrance to site

Negativ Large school trip of teenagers during our stay but they were well behaved, just a little excited.
