Positiv Beautiful, relaxing, peaceful, friendly staff and great little restaurant. Popular site for cyclists too it seems. Nearby town is a 10 minute walk, with a bar, pizza restaurant, bakery etc. lovely walks on the canal nearby.

Positiv Staff were very nice and helpful. Pitch was a nice size. Lots of different birds and saw some bats during the evening.

Negativ No shop on site and bar only open evenings. Nearest shop was 25 min walk. Next time we’ll do our shopping before arriving.

Positiv Location, friendly staff, great snack bar, good sized pitches, good bathroom and shower and of course, the lakeside beach.

Negativ Could do with a small shop for essentials like milk, tea, suntan lotion etc.

Positiv Size of the pitch and location of facilities. Well maintained throughout. Really friendly and helpful staff. Different food availability each evening and lovely little bar open at 3pm. Pub at the end of the site opens for breakfast, lunch and dinner if you don’t want to cook for yourself. Highly recommended!

Positiv Nice big hardstanding pitch with water and electricity. Toilets and showers were spotless. General happy feeling throughout the site. Wardens were very friendly and helpful with advice on where to eat in Hay and also gave us a taxi number incase we didn’t want to walk back.

Negativ Would like a small shop or pub closer to the site, but this isn’t down to the campsite wardens, just a shame that the Baskerville Arms isn’t a pub anymore.
