Vom Platzbetreiber: Our EHU charges are clearly stated in the booking process at £10 a night. This is an optional extra for electric. Electric had not been booked for your 2 night stay , but had been plugged in, so you were asked to pay the extra £10 a night. Not everyone requires electric plug in , this choice is yours, but if you plug in you have to pay. The basic pitch charge for the night is for £20 which includes 2 people and all the free campsite activities including wifi and showers.

Positiv Nice clean tidy site on gravel water and electric on each pitch . Easy to find well sign posted off the main road nice coastal views. Friendly owner on site spoke to the guests

Negativ Road up to the site was a bit bumpy but to be expected as with most of Scotland they had sustained heavy rain which had washed away some of the service.

Positiv Easy to find about 15 minute drive from M6. Nice gravelled level pitches with grass in between. The pub is nice and friendly with a log fire 3 local real ales and a good assortment of food on the menu. I ate in the pub and a lovely home made steak pie with chips peas and gravy. I would definitely recommend it and would use it as a hand stop over enroute to Scotland
