Woodbridge, Suffolk, England
Grasbewachsener Stellplatz mit Stromanschluss
Positiv Low Farm is easy to find. Contactless check-in meant we could get straight on pitch and set up. Nice flat pitches and a good size. Electric pitches are altogether. Separate toilet and shower blocks, but situated side by side. Very clean facilities. Perfect for our requirements for an overnight stay close to Woodbridge because of dropping off/picking up our son from a Scout camp in the area. Highly recommend a visit to the town for a good range of independent shops, the friendly people, a visit to see a viking ship being built and a lovely area by the river to explore. Also highly recommend a table at The Maybush pub, just 20 minutes walk from the campsite. It is located on the River Deben. We will definitely stay again at Low Farm if back in the area as a couple. Just the type of site we've come to expect from pitchup.com.

Gras- und sandbedeckter Stellplatz voll ausgestattet
Positiv This is a fantastic campsite within a short walking distance of National Trust Sutton Hoo and we would highly recommend.
We were greeted on arrival by Helen, the owner, who was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The pitches are a good size, level and ours had electric, water and a drain for grey waste all on the pitch. The toilet/shower blocks are warm, well maintained and meticulously clean. There is free stable wi-fi on site. In the centre, there is a wooden children's play area visible from all pitches, which allows you to watch the young ones whilst allowing them some freedom. We particularly liked the opportunity to reserve a fire pit and buy a barrow of wood, especially as this was an autumn excursion! We are now cheese fondue converts!
The site is on a working farm, but we didn't experience any problems with this. We could see the free range chicken sheds across the field, but we did not hear any noise, or experience any smells or insects from them.
The site is in the beautiful Suffolk countryside with views across to Sutton Hoo woodland. There is a local road nearby and some traffic can be heard passing during the day, but we did not find it an issue. It is a great place to use as a base for the surrounding area. Rendlesham Forest is within a short driving distance with walks and cycle routes. We didn't explore more than this, the coast at Aldeburgh and Sutton Hoo itself on this occasion, due to the pandemic.
This was our first booking with pitchup.com, to this campsite and camping in our VW T5 (we usually camp in a tent). Booking was easy and we would have no hesitation in using the website or campsite again. The T5 set up worked well!
We look forward to bringing our six year old son with us next time and our friends as well. Can't wait!
