Positiv Lovely campsite in every way. Easy to find, well signposted. Staff in reception very friendly and helpful. Level pitch and spacious. Clean and tidy, well looked after, there was always someone around carrying out maintenance. Toilet and shower block also spacious and very clean. Closed every day at a certain time for cleaning. Family bathroom such a great idea, probably so much easier if you have more than 1 child. The terraced pitches with small well pruned trees added a lot of privacy. Lots of information on hand about the area and places to see. Bar, restaurant, shop, takeaway breakfast truck all very handy and the animals are so cute. Great value for money, offer on for 7 nights or more and I love the fact that they don't charge extra for an awning. We only have a small van, smaller than a lot of tents, I don't book anywhere with added charge.

Negativ Nothing to do with campsite, we like to use the bus and there is a stop nearby, but it is on the express dual carriageway. There is no way we could cross over to go towards Exeter. But we did have lots of lovely days out when we decided we would have to do round trips from the safe side of dual carriageway. As for campsite, nothing to dislike.

Positiv Lovely campsite, very spacious and quiet. We only stayed for 1 night, didn't use the showers because they were too cold, cement flooring and wooden outbuildings. Bodmin nursery within walking distance on a little footpath, had a very nice breakfast.

Negativ Too remote for us, long hilly trek to bus stop. Didn't see any staff about, no information. Shower rooms very cold and basic.

Positiv Nice location, close to bus stop and supermarket right next door. Good size pitch with river views. Toilets/showers very clean and tidy. Greeted by a lovely friendly lady. Ladies shower cubicles nice and roomy, very warm and powerful.

Negativ Security was very tight on the main entrance but there were a lot of strangers walking through along the river. The walk to toilet/shower block was treacherous no pathway, lots of lumpy dry earth and trip hazards on the static plots. Heard a lot of complaints from men about their showers being very small and how they had to dry and dress in communal area. Only one shower/toilet block, could imagine it very busy in peak times.

The public footpath that runs along the river is a big attraction for both our campers and walkers. A pathway to the facilities block is next on our list which is why at the moment it asks in our rules that are given to campers on check in that they do not walk across empty static pitches. We are finding that the majority of our campers use their own facilities in their caravans & units so haven't experienced any problems with only having one shower/toilet block. Positiv Lovely small clean and tidy site. Flat pitch very close to the shower and toilet block, which was very clean and warm. It is checked and cleaned three times a day. The waste area was enclosed in a tidy area. The young man in charge was very friendly and helpful, he was very hard working at all times and was happy to help with anything. Great location to get out and about, bus stop just 5 minutes walk on main road. Great find, would definitely visit again and I have already recommended it to others. Security barrier at entrance, felt safe and slept really well.

Positiv Lovely flat pitch. Beautiful site and location, very tidy and well looked after. Arrived late but greeted by a friendly young man, who told us we could pick our own pitch, I know this is not always possible, but in quiet times we appreciate this offer. Shower/toilet block very clean and tidy. Shower hot and didn't go off every 2 seconds. Shower room very spacious with toilet and sink included, chair, hooks and holder for toiletries. Underfloor heating was lovely, the floor was so clean that I laid my clothes down to warm while I used shower. Bus stop right outside, had a nice trip to Exeter's Xmas market. Security on site was excellent, felt safe. The recycling and waste area was enclosed in a gated space away from pitches, this was also tidy and well kept. Loved the water feature near entrance. Very peaceful and quiet.

Negativ The steps up to toilet block are not lit at night, I didn't have a torch. Maybe one sensor light would help.

Positiv Nice flat pitch close to facilities. Lovely location, 5 minutes from harbour and shops. Very quiet and peaceful. Staff very friendly and helpful. The clubhouse was an added bonus, very cosy, comfy chairs and a roaring fire. Only stayed one night but would stay longer next time as there is a lot to do. Bus stop right outside. We walked to the fish and chip shop and ate them on the harbour, had a nice stroll, browsed the shops, finished with a beer in the pub. In the evening had a great time playing bingo in the clubhouse where everyone was very welcoming. The shower and toilet block was clean and tidy. Shower cubicles roomy with hangers and shelves. Two shower heads, body height and big rainfall head. Very quiet at night, enjoyed our stay very much.

Negativ Departure time 10a.m. Would of liked it a bit later, slept so well, didn't want to get up!

Positiv Lovely showers with rainfall shower heads, very roomy cubicles. Great system for waste disposal.

Negativ Booking in time 2pm. Got there at 2.30 to find reception closed at 11am. Pitch number displayed on the door. Our pitch was at the top of a hilly field even though there were lots of empty pitches. We were a long way from water taps and shower block. Reception was supposed to be open 9am -11am, this didn't happen very often. Toilets and shower block were not clean on arrival and they stayed like that all week. No evidence of cleaning, one very soiled toilet was locked off on Thurs and the toilet roll was replenished as most of the holders were empty. Same rubbish in the bins all week. The mens toilets didn't have any roll for two days. Private party in barn on Saturday with no warning. Live music very loud and lots of strangers hanging around the toilets.

Positiv Flat pitch, lots of space, beautiful views, very quiet and peaceful. Well looked after, lots of hardworking staff keeping on top of things from housekeeping to ground work. Very reasonable rates. Not far from the M5 and very easy to find. Reception always open during day, friendly, helpful staff. Night warden always available after hours. Toilets and showers plentiful and very clean and tidy.

Negativ Nothing to do with campsite but just a warning for others who might like to do the same as us. We like to leave our set up and have long days out, so we always use the bus, the bus stop was perfect, right outside the entrance but the service is the worst ever, unreliable, always late and overcrowded. Not one day did the bus arrive on time. The wait was from 20 minutes up to an hour. One day it got to 2 hours, two days the bus didn't even stop. Spent a lot of time during the week waiting at bus stops. Not able to plan a day beforehand, spoilt our stay, for that reason we will not be looking to stay in this area again. I will get in touch with First, hopefully it will improve. As for the campsite too many dogs off leads.

Positiv Lovely campsite, immaculate pitch, level, tidy, spacious, very private with high hedges. Staff very friendly and helpful. Showers were very clean and plentiful as were the toilets. I loved Greatest Hits Radio playing all day in the shower/toilet room. Very quiet and peaceful especially at night. Bus service best we have ever used, had lots of lovely trips. Could never miss a bus because there was always one due. Close to supermarket, fast food and restaurant. Didn't want to leave.

Positiv Lovely quiet peaceful site. Very clean and tidy. Large level pitches. Run by a friendly and helpful couple. Beautiful views, right next to National Trust Parkland, with cows grazing. Very large wet room with a hot and powerful shower. Bus stop only minutes away, enjoyed some great trips around and beyond the area. Thanks to Wiltshire County council for Day Rover offer which allows you to travel to many different places, getting on and off when you please. Enjoyed our stay very much, thanks.

Positiv Lovely campsite, great corner pitch, very tidy and well kept. Quiet and peaceful day and night. Very helpful couple who work hard to maintain standards. Showers and toilets really clean, shower powerful and temperature perfect. Lovely location with bus stop right outside, so we had some enjoyable trips to Bude, Boscastle, Tintagel, Wadebridge, Widemouth Bay and Crackington Haven for a refreshing swim, such a lovely beach. Really enjoyed our long weekend there, shame we had to leave to return to work, wanted to stay longer. Thank you.

Positiv Lovely site, well kept pitches. Very quiet at night. Toilets and showers very clean, warm and lots of them. Hairdryer available. Great outdoor activities for children and adults. Mobile fish and chips van on Saturdays.

Negativ Found on pitchup with a filter requesting 'public transport nearby', very disappointed to find the nearest bus stop was 30 minutes walk away.

Positiv This campsite was immaculate, big, bold signage at the entrance, there was no way we could miss it, very easy to find. The pitch was level and well looked after, no mud, potholes or overgrowth. Lovely Christmassy feel with lights on bushes and trees. The moment we walked into the inviting reception, we knew this place was perfect. Lovely young couple with a warm welcome, Lee and David, who work very hard and were available at all times offering help and local knowledge. Great informative pack given on arrival, with maps, walks and local attractions. Toilets, showers and wash areas were immaculate and cleaning was carried out regularly. Every area of this site was neat and tidy right down to the grass and planting. Very quiet night and day, we ended up spending an extra night at short notice as we didn't want to leave. Bus stop outside, enabling travel to lots of lovely places. Perfect campsite, best one we have stayed at. Well done to a lovely couple, keep up your good work, hope you get many rewards for your hard work and dedication.
