Positiv Everything. We have stayed many times and it is always wonderful. Peaceful, loads of space, with beautiful views over the hills. Great walks from the site. Toilets spotless. Firepits delivered. Remember to take cash - we forgot but Rachel vey kindly let us have one 'on the house'.

Positiv Everything - the space - the fantastic setting - have stayed many times and it is always wonderful - even one time when it was torrential rain. Rachel is friendly and efficient - delivering fire pits and providing any help if needed. If you love an off grid - remote feeling - then this is the one.

Positiv The location was fantastic with incredible views. Walking paths from the site and easy to cycle into Llanes. Good little bar onsite - did food but we didn't eat there. Lovely hot showers and very clean facilities. Quite and chilled out

Negativ The pitches were quite close. But we had lovely neighbours so no problem

Positiv This is one of my favourite places. Beautiful quiet and so simple. Rachel brought us a fire pit - £5 - stars came out - a perfect evening.

Positiv Everything. Beautifully created Shepherds Hut - the woodburner kept us cosy and warm - plenty of wood - Jo, our host, checked we were ok when Storm Ashley came in, even offering us a bedroom in the farmhouse if things got scary! so kind of her. Nearest pub, The Brown Horse, an easy 35 minute walk away, serving delicious food. Windermere 10 mins drive away. Lanes very narrow so go carefully - but this adds to special feeling of this wonderful place.
