Grasbewachsener Stellplatz Top Field ohne Stromanschluss
Positiv Cleanest facilities I've ever experienced. Dishwashing area and bathroom were always spick and span, and also really usable, ie. hooks and a shelf in the bathroom, plenty of space for a parent and child in there too, and a great mirror and lighting for makeup.
The person looking after the site was staying with us in his campervan so we knew he was there if we needed anything, and he was super friendly and interesting. The 10pm to 7am rule was really enforced so we knew we'd get a good night of sleep.
The field has plenty of spare space for kids to play, and you can decide to pitch and the edge or in the middle of the field, which is nice for groups. It is very flat and ever so slightly sloped - not in a noticeable way, but enough to give us reassurance we wouldn't get puddles. It got very rainy but we didn't notice any at all. The grass was very well maintained too.
There's a nice 30mn walk to a farm shop through fields and a small forest, which was the perfect outing for us. There was also a co-op if you need anything. You'll need to take the car to find food in a pub. Plenty of them around but book in advance if you can, especially if you are a big group. There's an information sheet with a list of them you can pick up when you arrive.
Negativ 4G was a bit patchy. Not awful but it would sometimes drop, and there was no wifi. But this being camping perhaps that's a positive 😅

Grasbewachsener Zelt-Stellplatz ohne Stromanschluss
Positiv Amazing! Squeaky clean bathrooms and showers, gorgeous woodland full of bluebells, and a lovely playground
Negativ There was a sewer thing near our pitch that made a purring noise at night and occasionally smelled... but not enough for it to be a real problem.
We couldn't park right next to our pitch as it was near the fishing lake and there was a gate. There was also only one parking slot near the gate for 2 pitches.

Grasbewachsener Stellplatz mit Stromanschluss
Positiv Very friendly welcome With Corinne, our pump was broken and she happily loaned us some tape to help fix it. Pitches were well marked, and there were nice paths around the tents for kids to use their bikes and scooters.
Literally everyone there was a family, and kids naturally all played together while the parents were relaxing.
Very close to Shanklin beach, 5mn drive - go there early to get parking!
Very clean facilities. Some trees around the pitches for shade and hammocks!
Negativ Only minor things.
The 3 pigs show activity - sounded like it was going to be a play, but it was a mere colouring session were you colour in small finger paper puppets on regular paper. Disappointing. A better description of the activity would help.
Having a step stool in the bathroom would make life SO much easier for parents with young children.
I had to ask for a glass of water three times while my child was so thirsty. The brunette waitress that welcomed us and took our order never brought it over, eventually I had to go to where the bar is to ask someone else.
Having glass of water as something you can order via the app, or self service water points in the restaurant would be helpful.

Gras- und erdbedeckter Zelt- oder Wohnmobil-Stellplatz ohne Stromanschluss
Positiv Amazing showers - I was really worried about being cold but the water was very hot (but adjustable) and the space was well insulated. Fab location too, easy to get to Penzance, St Ives, Saint Michael's Mount.
One evening a group of people started making noise but the owner of the camping came over to ask them to tone it down and they did!
Really outstanding experience especially for that price!
Negativ I was worried about the noise of the train and road but actually it never woke me nor my son up, although the train is very loud it's a white noise type of sound so didn't bother us.

Grasbewachsener Zelt-Stellplatz Green ohne Stromanschluss
Positiv So much space, a huge field to ourselves to play frisbee in and use our kite, and a 5 minute walk away a collection of tractors and agricultural equipment that our little toddler loved looking at.
Some people in the other pitches were partying into the evening but they were so far we could barely hear them.
The farmer was incredibly welcoming and chatty, providing us with everything we asked for for a great stay and lovely agricultural anecdotes.
Negativ Not a dislike per say but be aware it's wild camping so you'll need to bring your own toilet and a jerricane of water. Totally worth it given all the space and beautiful views you get in my opinion but be prepared!
