Vom Platzbetreiber: Thank you Elizabeth, much appreciated and hope to see you again.

Positiv Good sized pitches in a picturesque location, with easy access to both the Northumberland National Park/ Keilder Forest and Hadrian's wall.A good range of facilities including a pub and restaurant/cafe with covered outdoor seating.

Negativ Some facilities were undergoing refurbishment when we stayed so could have been better. Also the pub cafe, shop and launderette were all closed on Sunday so maybe there should be a discounted price for staying that night?

Positiv Idyllic little spot hidden away from the road beside a pond with ducks! Very basic facilities but clean and thoughtfully equiped. We stayed on a couple of windy days but the site was very sheltered with unrestricted sized pitches.

Positiv Superb views. Exceptionally clean chemical toilets. Lots of space to pitch

Negativ Very little level ground in the tent field. It was very windy when we stayed and the site is very exposed- which of course would be an plus in warm calm weather.

Negativ Nothing really. It suited us well for an overnight stay. If you wanted more entertainment it might be a bit limited.
