Positiv Campsite owners are very nice, we were made to feel so welcome. The camping field is lovely and spacious, bordered by nice trees, level with soft grass. Loved the 'open air' type shower and facilities. Local shop a few minutes walk away.

Positiv Superb location, great facilities especially the Courtyard with the heated booths, covered seating, food, coffee, bar and pizza. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The new shower/toilet facilities were lovely.

Positiv I loved the layout of the campsite. It's really well kept. The facilities are brilliant, loads of showers, all nice and clean. The staff were really friendly and helpful. There is wifi which was an unexpected bonus. The footpaths from the campsite were just lovely with fab scenery. I would recommend stout walking shoes as they are loose, rocky and steep in places. The scenery from the campsite is just lovely all round. You can hear the sheep and cows on the hills. I even saw red deer. The sunsets were beautiful and then the stars at night were awesome as that area is 'dark sky'. They had a great dog walking area that my springer loved. I will definitely be coming back. Thank you.

Positiv The views from my pitch. The toilets and showers were very nice and clean. There was a great restaurant available (although I didn't get to try it). The staff were all really friendly and helpful. There was a great walk nearby up to Kit Hill.

Positiv Loved the feel of being amongst trees and nature. The toilet and shower facilities were good and clean. The lady who checked me in was very friendly and helpful. There were lovely walks to small lakes and to big field where I could run the dogs. There was no mobile signal but excellent wi-fi available. There was even a fridge available for campers, which I don't often see. Very thoughtful.

Positiv The toilet and shower facilities were excellent. The pitch was level and had its own electric and water. Site is right next to the canal and you can walk into Whitchurch.

Negativ Site was right next to a busy main road and is very 'open'. Whilst the noise of the traffic all day and night doesn't make it feel very 'peaceful', I did sleep well. I felt quite exposed and nervous on my own initially, especially being so close to a main road and the site was relatively empty. There was another motorhome, plus some people in PODs and there are people living on the canal very close by. One of the barges have a very 'yappy' dog which got extremely irritating. There weren't any signs to say 'check in at the cafe', which might have been helpful. I only knew about the walk along the canal from reading information beforehand, as I wasn't given any information when I arrived, just told I could 'pick a spot' and hook up.

The road can be noisy if the wind blows in a certain direction. We are planting more trees to block more sound out. We have also spoken with the owner of the happy dog off the back of this review and can confirm that the dog no longer yaps!

Positiv Lovely centre with a great atmosphere. Beautiful setting with lake and trees and large camping area. Lots of people clearly enjoying themselves. Booking was simple. Checking in was simple. Shower/toilet facilities clean and nice. Great value for money. I only stayed one night so didn't get to sample the many activities available and was most interested to see there is a biking trail around the camp which I will try next time.

Positiv The site was easy to locate, not too far off the A30 which was great for traveling around, yet it felt you were in the middle of nowhere. We were in a campervan on grass pitches with electric hook-up. The pitches were well marked and spacious around the sides of a big field with no pitches in the middle, so it felt huge, plus we had far reaching views across lovely countryside. It was so lovely and quiet. All the facilities, toilets and showers, were immaculate. The owners even clean them before going to bed!! The staff were so friendly and helpful. We ate in the bar where the food was lovely. The whole site has a lovely feeling and we were so delighted that it lived up to the reviews we had read before we booked. We would definitely recommend this site to anyone and are looking forward to returning.

Positiv I was looking for a site 'away from it all' and this site didn't disappoint. It really was a lovely tranquil spot. The camping area was a fantastic natural area amongst trees and you could see and hear the wildlife, like birds and the owls at night. There was a lovely wooded area that children must love to explore as well as an open area for them to play. It had a lovely atmosphere, and you could see that families felt safe to let their children run about and explore. It may escape the noise of roads and feel rural, but it only took a few minutes drive to get back out onto the main roads and is only a few miles from Bodmin. The owners were very helpful and the shop was well stocked with most things you might need. I didn't want to come home and will definitely stay there again.

Negativ The toilet block is small and dated and whilst it was perfectly clean, it could do with being updated with more showers and basins. It certainly isn't a deal breaker for me.
