Negativ When we arrived at the gates we were given paperwork with no directions to the pitch and no instructions. Eventually we found the field and had to ask people where we could stay and they replied anywhere. All the grounds were covered in bird faeces, the toilets were absolutely disgusting and the venue restaurant/bar was pathetic and so dirty, The tables outside were covered in left over flies which attracted all the flies. We went to order food at 20.45 waiting in a long queue, to be told they had stopped serving food but we could order a takeaway and have it delivered the our table. Food was disgusting. The delivery guy was lovely though. No one looked after their children, they were all running riot and to be honest this place is somewhere that parents seem to go so they can leave their kids and just get pissed with their friends. People only went there to drink alcohol. The shop on site was useless, the was more alcohol sales than of anything else. There was no security or wardens and their was a live music event on the weekend we went which went on till late. This should have been advised on the booking. In the middle of the night I went to the toilet to find a group of drunk young girls and boys in there, swiftly moving out on my arrival, dragging the mop bucket with them. During the night a drunk person fell on the tent onto us lying inside. This is the type of people that travel to this place. I would never recommend it. It is filthy with out of control children and drunk young teenagers trashing the communal toilets. Only saw 1 cleaner during our weekend stay.

Positiv The site was beautiful and had everything you could possibly need. Facilities were very clean. Everyone is so friendly. Loved the fact no children are allowed. It was so peaceful.

Negativ No mobile phone reception or wifi

Vom Platzbetreiber: Pity you didn't come in to reception to ask about the wifi as it is available throughout the whole park. We'd certainly of helped get that sorted with you. As for phone reception it really depends on who your provider is and to a small degree where on the park you are. Sorry those two issues disappointed you but we sincerely hope that it will not deter you from returning as we have so many good points, many of which you've kindly mentioned. Thank you and we hope to see you again.
