Negativ We have stayed at camping louis ,regularly for the past 4-5 years the first couple of years it was faultless absolutely fantastic, unfortunately the past couple of years it appears to be going downhill rapidly, one night we decided to have a meal at the site restaurant, 35 minutes sat with menus infront of us whilst other diners who had only been in 15 minutes had food drinks and service, from fawning staff when asked if someone could serve us , just a tutting sound and we're busy tonight , as a response, then charged for food and drinks we didn't have, an exchange happened but no apology for there mistakes. We booked again as its just so handy when coming from the port of calais with the misguided believe that the unpleasant attitudes and demeanor was just temporary and the normal high standards were back , we arrived around 5 my wife went in to confirm everything, she returned fuming, I have just been spoken to like iam causing a massive problem, firstly she asked which was our pitch and we're was it,the response was its 92 right up the back , then the person tutted and walked off , my wife then asked for a plan of the site ,unsure where 92 was and also for a takeaway menu, I didn't fancy cooking, a resounding no to both questions ," we don't have enough menus. I went in to finally get some idea of where we staying, after being totally ignored for 10- 15 minutes I was on the edge of losing my rag big style a young girl grudgingly explained where it was with an extremely dismissive manner , this was the final straw , yes we use this site as coming out and going home site we aren't staying there for more than a couple of days at a time but what was a welcoming site that set you up for a trip around Europe appears to have lost its way ,customers are a hindrance, basic good manners have been discarded in favour of bad attitude and service , as I've said we have seen a once great little site become the complete opposite, thankfully this area is massively served with many other sites .

Vom Platzbetreiber: Thank you for your review. We never charged anybody about food they didn't have. Regarding you checking experience, the reception closes at 6:00 pm. You came later it was about 6:30 pm, when the service is started. We never hide that after 6:00 the condition of the welcoming could be a little perturbed. Sorry for the bad experience. Positiv Quietness and easy access of the site, pitch size were adaquate and shared sinks and running water made a big difference and loo emptying facelities were very good the shower and toilet block were clean and did not have to queue at all, the swimming pool was very nice.

Negativ The bar and restraunt could have been more inviting and more selective menu. Not all staff were approachable or accommadating, we thought a shop selling basic essentials would of been priority with it been so far out of the town.
