Positiv Lovely camp site. Staff friendly. Pretty lake.

Negativ Toilets and showers could have been kept a bit cleaner although I know it must be difficult as in constant use with lake swimmers. Distant road noise at night. No fault of the camp site.

Positiv Generous sized pitches . Lots of open space for children to play. Woodland for walking dog. Wild swimming if desired . Pleasant surroundings. Staff friendly.

Negativ Toilets and showers not always clean probably due to swimmers in and out from the lake. Quite noisy due to busy road traffic in distance.

Positiv A back to basics campsite with no frills but amenities were clean and functional. Freedom to pitch where you like and no endless list of rules. Lovely quiet feel to it without any disturbance. Local events advertised on board on entry.
