Positiv Beautiful site, very clean shower & toilets. All the necessities are there, Water, waste disposal etc. There is also a small supply of essentials in the reception shop area. Absolutely wonderful walks direct from site, short ones and longer for the hardened walker. Owners are very personable ,kind and helpful. Exceptional value for money.

Positiv It is a quiet site, with excellent facilities including hot showers and a laundrette. The site is kept beautifully and managed very well. The view is incredible. The manager Bob was incredibly kind and helpful; on hand if you need him and if not he gives you plenty of space to enjoy your stay. The beach is right across the road with the coast path running through the dunes, beautiful wild flowers. I would definitely return.

Positiv What an amazing gem, the views are breathtakingly beautiful and the beach is a few mins walk away, perfect for dog walks. The owners Louise and her husband are very kind and on hand if needed if not they leave you to enjoy your stay. Facilities are what’s needed if you have a camper or motorhome. Pitches a great size. In my top ten of breath taking views on a campsite! Would definitely return.

Positiv Fantastic campsite, stunning location with private access to ‘Thornham Walks’. The owner Jess is very kind and helpful. The facilities are very clean and spacious. Will definitely be booking to stay again.

Positiv Fantastic stay. I am so glad I ignored a negative review on their site related to access to the beach. There is access and the only step down at the bottom of the ramp is slightly deeper than an average step. The site is immaculate, well looked after, spacious pitches, 10/15 min walk to beach, very helpful & friendly owners & staff. The facilities are 5*. Awesome views. I will certainly be back.

Positiv I had a fabulous stay at Aurthers Retreat with my dog. The owner Holly checked in at the beginning and was very kind and helpful. The pitches are spacious, elec & water & Wi-Fi including waste disposal. It is very quiet with lovely walks. It is an excellent spot for fully serviced tourers, inexpensive and peaceful. I have booked to return!
