Positiv Great Lakes and surrounding area very good fishing .

Negativ Small amount of facilities and not clean at all . Large amount of coming and going’s Esp from Friday afternoon . No order to where people could pitch so people just pitch anyway and walk around your pitch . Larger groups camping together being generally loud and allowing children to play around vans until early hours ! Not a nice feel on site at times which is a shame as it was a nice area .

Positiv This site is amazing . Large pitches fabulously clean showers with gallons of piping hot water ! On site bar with top notch food. This site has a real continent feel ! Well done team !

Positiv This site is fabulous! We were really worried about camping over a BH as many sites over crowded . The site is spacious quiet and exceptionally clean. It is well ran and the family owners deserve every success .

Positiv Great Lake lots of fish well kept good fishing .

Negativ Site is away from lake so no lake views . Lots of rules however many not adhere too ie dogs must be on a lead which we followed however other dogs roamed freely . Small site allowed fire pits which smoke other campers out . Shower facilities clean but limited amount .

The amount of showers are within the limits of our licence, you could always use the one in your van if did not wont to wait?

Positiv Lovely site due to surrounding parkland Around lake . Pitches ok but the bank holiday meant that some Tents were squeezed in quite close ! Would come Back but midweek Or Out of season.

Negativ Unwelcoming receptionist Have to walk through reception to get to toilets . £10 per day to fish!

Positiv Absolutely everything! This site can not be faulted . A hidden gem !! Very dog friendly for respectful dog parents John and Jacque owners are the kindest people and super helpful. This site is stunning facilitates are immaculate . Can not wait to return to hear those noisy ducks!
