Positiv Everything, this campsite must be one of the best in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Small site, right on Lake Rama hosted by Ivan, who along with his father provide exceptional hospitality from a warm welcome and cold beers on arrival to a friendly farewell. All sites have views of the lake which is just meters away. You are welcome to use the small jetty to relax or take out one of the SUPs and even put a load of washing on at no cost. We enjoyed a walk to the monastery, early morning runs around the lake and fabulous simple food at the local restaurant. We stayed an extra night and could easily have stayed a few more if we didnt have to head home soon. If you want to experience true hospitality come to camp Tune.

Positiv Everything - beautiful location right on the banks of Lake Shkodra. Amazing views of thd pristine landscape of this area. The lake provides a welcome relief from the current heatwave temperatures. Safe swimming without any crowds or speedboats to disturb the experience. The facilities were immaculate, toilet cubicles include sinks and there is also an accessible shower and toilet cubical. Pitches are a good sixe and a vine canopy provides ample shade. We ate at the returant twice and experienced great service and good local food. One of the best sites we have been to.

Positiv Beautiful site right on the lake in beautiful Umbria. Good sized pitches, clean and plentiful amenities including a dishwasher ! Beautiful pool to cool down, great kids pool too. Great location for a relaxing stop between florence and Rome. The cycle path allows you to visit nearby towns. We were there heatwave conditions so mostly stayed onsite and in the pool. Staff were friendly and helpful, guided us to our pitch and provided information on the local area.

Positiv Great site with excellent amenities including several pools, grocery store laudrey resturant and bar. Good sized pitches with ample space to set up outdoors. There is a footpath and cycle path along the river Arno right on the doorstep great for walking, running or cycling. We cycled into town most days, alternatively you can catch a bus right across the road. Staff are helpful and friendly, and the information point is great if you want to purchase bus tickets or book tours. An added bonus is the proximity to Mensola parkrun, possibley the friendliest parkrun in Europe.

Positiv Beautiful site with very large well maintained pitches looking onto mount Vesuvius and clean facilities a short walk to Pompei and to the train station for Naples - and easy train trip. You chise your own pitch and several had a table chairs and a gazebo so great for families. The host was friendly and helpful and provided good information on getting to the site and exploring the area.

Negativ The site is great and very peaceful with the exception of nightly fireworks so if you are easily disturbed bring earplugs. Walking to Pompei is fine but not particularly pleasant. A bit of advice take the route recomended by your host. Pasquale gave us good advice on the best route to take to avoid narrow streets. Unfortunately we forgot and followed google maps instead, took a wrong turn and had some very narrow roads to navigate in a large motorhome.

Positiv Overall an almost perfect stay on the outskirts of Rome. Large well maintained site with excellent facilites. The amenities are above average with luxurious showers, ample clean toilets, dishwasher area and a laundry. The pool is beautiful, clean and well maintained with a large spa area. The pool bar is great for a coffee or cool drink.The perfect antidote to busy siteseeing in the city, especially during the very high temperatures we experienced. Staff were friendly and very helpful. The pitches are large with ample shade and outdoor space. A short walk to a supermarket saved trying to carry groceries on the bus. We did not try the resturant or breakfast room but it was good to have it on site if needed.

Negativ Although not under the sites control, the local train station is temporarily closed, this meant using buses which you can get right at the entry to the site. We specifically chose this site due to easy transport to the city.The buses were plentiful, but very crowded and timing not too reliable. Always give yourself a buffer and you will be fine.

Positiv Nice site, clean facilities, friendly staff and access to the tearoom. Great views of the Ailsa Craig. Easy walk to Maidens ( or further) or Girvan on the coastal path - follows signs and stay off the main road.

Positiv Great location just off the motorway heading North. A few minutes walk to the canal path - easy walk to Preston. Clean toilets and showers. Option to have a fire with fire pit and wood available on site.

Positiv Fantastic location in a beautiful setting with access to the lake and cycle paths. Friendly knowledgeable staff provided a smooth check in and warm welcome. The option of fresh bread in the mornings was a plus. We will definitely go back for a longer stay in the Loire Valley.
