Positiv Stayed here twice before. Great to see that the access road has been sorted. Good sized pitches. Great location for getting into Lichfield-Uber only £5-6. The plough is an easy walk and the food is superb.

Negativ Maybe a washing up area closer to the pitches.

Positiv Met by David & Sharon at the entrance and guided to our pitch. The pitches are spacious and the views across the valley towards Cheadle are lovely. Facilities are cleaned every day, shower rooms are good with nice hot showers. Newly built outdoor Pizza Oven & BbQ a nice touch as is the hammock and chair swinging from the trees. Lovely washing up area with communal fridge freezers and a microwave is a nice touch along with the herb garden. Just a lovely site with a calm vibe- we’ll be back to explore more walks and things in the area.

Negativ Nothing really

Vom Platzbetreiber: Absolutely — here’s a warm, appreciative, and professional review reply you can post as the campsite owner or manager. I’ll keep it friendly, personal, and aligned with the tone of their lovely feedback. --- **Reply to Review** Thank you so much for sharing such a thoughtful review of your stay with us at Springfields. It was a pleasure to welcome you, and David & Sharon will be delighted to know their warm greeting made a great first impression. We’re really glad you enjoyed the spacious pitches and those valley views towards Cheadle — they’re one of our favourite features of the site too. It’s wonderful to hear the facilities, hot showers, and daily cleaning helped make your stay comfortable. The outdoor pizza oven, BBQ area, hammock, and woodland swing are all little touches we hoped would bring a bit of charm and relaxation to the site, so it means a lot to know they added to your experience. And we’re especially pleased you made use of the washing‑up area, communal fridge freezers, microwave, and herb garden — they’re there to make camping feel that bit easier. Hearing that you found the whole site calm and welcoming is exactly what we aim for. We’d love to have you back again to explore more of the walks and hidden gems in the area. Thank you again for the kind words — and for saying there was nothing to dislike. That truly makes our day. Looking forward to seeing you again soon.

Positiv Second time here in recent weeks- took a friend along this time with his motor home. Nice clean hot shower. Good location for popping into the lovely city of Lichfield. Will definitely visit again. Great to see the access road is being improved and repaired( I know it’s not their responsibility)

Negativ Nothing really.

Positiv Friendly, helpful staff on reception. Nice size pitches. Toilet & shower room warm & clean. Shower nice and hot.Access to canal towpath really handy for walks- even if it’s just to the excellent pub -The Plough- for a pint and some great food.(3/4 mile)

Negativ Nothing other than the really rough access road - you have to dodge the large potholes but I’m sure that will be tidied up when the weather picks up.
