Positiv Lovely well appointed quiet venue. Staff friendly, clean facilities. Coffee Shop and a Pub close by.

Negativ No bus service. Older Motorhomes struggle on the local road network. Some big hills, it would have useful to have information about the route to site provided at the time of booking.

I am sorry to hear you were frustrated about the small roads on your travel to the campsite, On our website we do have directions on the best route in which to reach us, the main road to stick to and what roads to avoid, alternatively if you had phoned the campsite we could have also given you this information. Positiv We liked everything about this site, it ticked every box for us. We were greeted on arrival, directed to our pitch and were told that the pub opens at 5pm, what more do you want in life..... The toilet / showers were all spotlessly maintained which was pleasing to note. The pub 'The Flying Pig' was great, small but well appointed, Kim Taylor was our host behind the bar and she definitely made everyone feel welcome. If you're wanting a quiet site away from hustle and bustle we'll this is the site for you. We will definitely be coming back to revisit. Thank you to all the team at Hollym Airfield Caravan and Camping, you were/are awesome. 😃😃😃

Positiv The site is a tranquil piece of quiet peac. Being tucked away from the main road there was no road traffic noise pollution. We received a warm greeting on arrival and were guided to our pitch. The facilities are second to none being extremely well appointed and clean. The grounds of the farm provided a lovely dog walk giving fantastic riverside views. A field full of Alpacas was not what I was expecting to see but they weren't phased as I walked by with my dog behind a sturdy fenced area. All in all the site is wonderful and if we're ever looking for a pitch near Pickering I will know where to head for a return visit. Thank you

Positiv The greeting on arrival at the Reception was pleasant and we were direct to and met in person at our allocated pitch. We were provided with a very informative welcome information sheet which was a big tick for us. The pitch was clean and well kept. Road noise was not noticeable and the site was very peaceful. Very useful having a Pound Stretcher shop on site. The roaming Peacocks from the Bridlington Animal Park which shares the site were nice to see.

Negativ The shower and toilet facilities weren't extensive. Only 2 separate toilets and 2 shower room available for the section that we were allocated to. The cafe opening times - Sat 10:30 - 15:30, we arrived on site at 15:00 so we didn't have the chance to try their wares.
