Positiv Lovely campsite, small and family friendly. Clean showers and toilets, a wash up area full of tea towels and soap, beautiful surrounding areas with walks across fields, and even lovely additions for children (mud kitchen, toys, a tick sheet, fairy doors and a woodland trail). Close enough to all needed amenities by car and a pub not too far away! Loved the additional benches and fire pits free of charge on each pitch, with your own fishing area to call your own. So tranquil and calm, a very well thought out site.

Negativ Slight hill for pitching (can’t be helped and didn’t affect our stay). Taking our rubbish away with us.

Unfortunately we have had to introduce new waste rules due to changes in collections from our local council. We do still accept food waste, glass and dog waste. Look forward to welcoming you back.

Positiv Beautiful grounds, the working farm is wonderful to watch! The site is quiet and relaxing, overlooking the cows. Basic facilities for a few nights stay. Large, well-maintained pitches, with fire pits which were a great bonus. Pitches marked out with mown areas so a nice private feel. Lovely kids toys and play area, with fridges for use. The owners are helpful and informative, with an on site shop for anything you need. A wonderful place to relax for a few days, or a great base for exploring!

Negativ The compost toilets aren’t for everyone but knew this when booking! However, clean and relatively low smell. Watch the general waste bins- they are not for all general waste but toilet waste only? (large green bins on site for all other waste). Low flying jets and planes flying over during the days (great to watch!)- just bear in mind if you don’t want the occasional noise overhead!

Positiv The most relaxing few days away. Pitched on the seaside field and could pitch where we like, we were one of three on the whole field so it felt like we had it to ourselves! So quiet and right next to the beach. Stairs are steep to beach but nothing to be too worried about, we walked for miles along the coast with our doggies which was lovely. Great amenities, coffee on site just a few meters away and two food huts (not open Sunday-Tuesday while we were there). Showers and toilets as expected, clean, tidy, nothing special but does the job! Close to local shops with everything you need, groceries, B&m, Homebase etc and Lowestoft and other towns just 15 minutes drive away. Great base! Fire pits and bbqs allowed, check out 10am but due to quiet period could leave when we wanted to which was great. We didn’t want to leave! Will definitely be returning, thanks again :)
