Positiv Nice spacious pitches and the site was quiet when we visited. We managed one swim before the good 20m pool closed for the season. Good sanitary facilities which were spotless. (These are mixed sex which some might not like at busier times) A reasonable 20 mins walk into town where there are good restaurants and easy access to cycling and walking routes. All pitches seemed fully serviced with water, waste and electricity.

Negativ No private basins for personal washing. Laundry requires a token from reception which wasn’t open many hours in the day.

Positiv After a really friendly greeting I was able to pay for my pitch using my card. We were shown around the main facilities close to the entrance toilets, shower, washing up room, recycling point, toilet dump and water points all more than adequate. The site consists of 2 open fields and we were able to pick our own area to park up (we didn’t need electric hook up). We chose the far field for the evening sun. This field has a second toilet block but no hot water or showers but the main block is only a short walk away. An enjoyable overnight stop and good value for money.
