Negativ Roads leading to the site are very, very narrow. The site itself only has two, old portaloos that weren’t very clean and didn’t flush very well. There was also a big plastic crate with water, which you couldn’t drink. If you wanted drinking water you had to go to the main house, a drive not a walk, to get some. I was there with my eldest son, youngest daughter and his daughter. Neither of us would allow the girls any where near the toilets. The roads leading to any of the walks mentioned are very narrow! The site is NOT child friendly.

Positiv Loved the location. Completely surrounded by hills and trees. It’s beautiful. The Shepherds Hut was perfect. Very clean, and very cosy. I was expecting it to feel small, but there’s plenty of room for two. There’s no TV which was a bonus, just chilled and had a few glasses of wine. We didn’t go exploring as it was pouring down, and only stayed in the location to be a stop to visiting Devils Bridge, which I recommend people visit (It’s got some very steep steps, so no wheel chairs or pushchairs!) Onsite toilets are clean too.
