Negativ To be fair we expected it so not that bothered but just warning everything on site is a bit pricey but plenty of places nearby to buy things.

Positiv Spacious pitches and very peaceful on this site owner Rick is very helpful and you can either bring your own fire pit or rent one for £5,site also sells nets of logs which is helpful,also an on site pop up bar which owner opens when weather is bad

Negativ Not a dislike as such but pub nearby has closed down and no nearby shops for supplies so need to be stocked up

Positiv Unfortunately nothing this time

Negativ We have stayed here before and unfortunately it has badly gone downhill,the pitches were now uneven and dirty ,rubbish and dog muck,the swimming pool was cold and you now have to pay for it,the club was dead most likely because the draught beer was off possibly because the pipes hadnt been cleaned ,the entertainment staff were rubbish and poor,misinformed staff we asked if there was bingo and was told no,we went to club and bingo was in full flow ,they had breakfast advertised and we were told sorry this was a mistake they wer'nt doing food,sorry but wont be coming back.

Positiv Quiet site away from road and within easy reach of York centre only a 10 min bus ride and the bus stops at the entrance to the site, the on site facilities are clean and good as well

Negativ No on site food /provisions shop although there is a cafe and gift shop

Positiv The site was very clean and well organised,the staff were very friendly and the facilities are spotless.The onsite shop and caravan accessories shop has lots to offer and is reasonably priced which is not what you would expect for an onsite shop

Negativ Only one launderette on site and the site is massive so it gets very busy
