Positiv Location was key for us, handy for us as locals to pop over and stay for a couple of nights and enjoy a fabulous meal in the pub whilst there. Friendly, welcoming, easy check in and peaceful.

Negativ Not a dislike as such but if arriving at a busy time for the pub, there is a little wait for the electric to be added but unsure how else they could manage this in hindsight.

Positiv Lovely tucked away site with a countryside feel but set in a village with great amenities. Perfect for us as campervan folks. Clean facilities, friendly host and good value.

Negativ Pitches are very close together and if the site was full I think there could be long waits for the showers. 2 in each block for the whole site and the glamping pods.

Regarding the comment about our shower facilities, we find that there are rarely queues for our showers. Many people choose to use their own facilities, and others choose quieter times to visit eg later at night or early in the morning. Thank you for saying you would recommend us to others, but disappointing that you would not revisit.

Positiv Location, facilities, easy check in, lovely restaurant, helpful staff and residents.

Negativ We unfortunately got placed on a pitch that children and families were using as a cut through to the grass field, BUT the staff were very helpful and our issues were resolved. This aside there was nothing to dislike.

Positiv Very friendly welcome by the owners, felt really at home and nothing was too much trouble. Had goodies brought round to us too! Fantastically clean showers and loos, with lovely hot water. Quiet little peaceful site.

Positiv Great location, they really have thought of everything for this little site. Definitely right up there as a favourite for us. Lovely warm showers, fantastic micro shop and best of all easy check in and quick response from the owners.

Positiv Lovely flat pitches, very friendly and welcoming host. Did his best to accommodate us after our plans unexpectedly changed. Nice peaceful location but within walking distance to the shop and pub.

Negativ Not so much a dislike as they were very clean but only having one WC and one shower did cause a bit of a queue but we were there on a Bank Hols.

Positiv Site foreman and his partner were really welcoming. Nice level and good sized pitches. Nice area but we already knew that as we only live up the road, it was nice to get away for a couple of nights in these crazy times. Social distancing measures were in place.
