Positiv Lovely neat and well organised campsite with clean facilities and plenty of activities for children. Takeaway pizza was delicious, and nice bar with comfy outdoor seating. Only 30 mins from Calais ferry. Staff were helpful and informative. Morning bakery was good value for money

Positiv Simple but lovely clean campsite, beautifully tucked away in the forest and right next to a river where you can swim. Staff are friendly and informative. In Walking distance of a village where there is a gorgeous riverside beach.

Negativ Our nearest WC was OOO so we had to walk to the one at the far end of the site. Dodgy wi-fi

Positiv Stunning location surrounded by mountains. Situated on the edge of a charming alpine village which has restaurants, a bakery, a petrol station and a grocery shop all a short walk from the site. Owners are friendly and helpful. Facilities are adequate. There is a park, a football field and basketball court right next door which the kids were made up with.

Negativ Pitches are a little snug and close together.

Positiv This is a lovely campsite on a hill overlooking Ettelbruck, with a nice friendly vibe. Staff were very helpful and informative, and a massive thumbs up for the restaurant (although make sure you make a reservation). It had great service, food and beer. The facilities were clean and adequate. Clientele looked to be of all age groups.

Positiv Well organised campsite with a nice view. I liked that the barrier reads your car registration so you could leave and arrive anytime. Facilities were clean and adequate, and the staff were helpful and informative. Less than 10 minute drive from Brilon which is a lovely town with nice restaurants. The pitch was a good size.

Positiv Very nice campsite in a picturesque location, with clean facilities and very friendly staff.

Negativ Allows campfires but doesn’t sell its own firewood, which I’ve known many campsites to do. We were told we could forage for wood ourselves but there wasn’t much to be found. So advice is to bring your own firewood if you want a camp fire.

Positiv Very well located for rural walks but also close to a decent sized town. clean facilities and a nice open camping field on a hill overlooking a picturesque view. And you can choose your own pitch location.

Negativ I did not feel especially welcome here, either by the staff or the other campers, but this may have been due to the language barrier. They only accept cash as payment, which these days is unusual and inconvenient if you don’t have cash handy, as it will mean you have to find an atm in the town.

Positiv This campsite is just what it says on the tin. Very nice and peaceful spot overlooking a canal. Ideal if you want peace and quite, but is also a short drive from the lovely town of Celle which is perfect for a day out

Positiv Very nice, well organised campsite. Ideal for everyone, especially families and children. There is entertainment and plenty of facilities. Bike hire nearby. Very decent restaurant.

Positiv Nice, clean and well organised campsite with friendly and helpful staff. Very close to a great theme park.

Negativ For tent dwellers, the campsite advertised that the car can be parked by the unit, however this was not the case. We had to park our car about 30 metres away, which isn’t too bad but still not ideal.

Positiv Decent campsite. A nice big open field where you can select your own pitch. We didn’t see the owners or staff at all but instructions and information was well displayed and straight forward. Ideal for when you are travelling to/from the continent.
