Positiv Spacious pitches, great having water and electric on pitch. Ideal stopover when heading to and from the ferry ports. Just off motorway.

Negativ No WiFi on pitches. Too far to walk to where free WiFi is in pouring rain. We would happily pay for WiFi on pitches

Positiv Large grassy pitches, excellent free WiFi on the pitch. EHU and water close by. Can collect warm bread, croissants, pain au chocolate from reception after 830am. Log burner in toilet block to keep warm!

Negativ Although on the map this site is just off the motorway, because of the toll booths you cannot rejoin until the next peage. However this was a 15 minute easy drive with a large caravan along country roads.

Positiv Lovely site with new toilet and shower block. Pitches allocated in advance so you know where your heading. Beautiful views and sunsets. Good 4G service on O2. WiFi available but you have to pay £3.50 a day or £8.50 a week. Ferry Inn pub onsite serving good food.

Negativ In April the ground was soft. Cars and caravans were fine, but we saw many motor homes getting stuck and needing to be towed out. This is a shame as it meant the grass became very muddy, and the pitch became unusable. Pub not being open every day.
