Negativ The weekend of our week long stay was very busy and the facilities struggled with the number of campers. However, I believe this was only due to the Broad Haven triathlon and is not normal.

Positiv Beautiful location with stunning views. Great swing for the children and they loved seeing the animals. Nice pitch

Negativ We chose this site because it was described as peaceful and on arrival there were clear signs stating a 9pm quiet time- brilliant. Unfortunately during our stay other campers didn't adhere to this (we did politely ask at 10.30 to no avail) and children were screaming and running around, music was played late and one night there was a camper arrival and setup next to us at 2.30am. With 2 young children this tainted our stay. It could possibly be beneficial for the owners to reiterate the rules on arrival for all and do occasional checks of the site or not to state the site as quiet with a quiet curfew.

Positiv Communication prior to our arrival was brilliant and made finding the site easy. As a family with 2 younger children Hollacombe Hideaway was brilliant, we received a warm welcome, the facilities were clean, we never had to wait to use any and excellent recycling is available. The setting is stunning, and we saw the deer just a few minutes stroll from the tent, it also proved a fantastic base to explore the area and reach the coast. We had a wonderfully peaceful (the site was quiet by 8.30pm every night) and relaxing stay and will be back (my little girls are already planning it!), especially loved the supply of fireplace and logs.
