Positiv Great site, small and quiet, very reasonably priced, clean facilities, very friendly owners, beautiful location, easy to use public transport.

Negativ Nothing, personally, but with the site being on a working farm, there is inevitably some animal/ machine noise early in the mornings which may not appeal to some campers .

Positiv Everything! Lovely site, very clean facilities with own toilet for each pitch, good shower and in ideal location for exploring northern Lake District. Lovely walk to Bassenthwaite for great pub (The Sun) and the opposite way to Bassenthwaite Station Cafe which serves amazing breakfasts and afternoon teas. Sid, the site owner, is a kind and helpful host. Will definitely be back.
