Positiv This was a very calm and relaxed place surrounded by trees and walks, and right next to a mooring on the Great Ouse. I had my first proper encounter with a hedgehog, and there were a couple of red kites occasionally roosting in a nearby tree. Immaculately clean loo. Would love to return sometime.

Positiv We loved the local landscape, the campsite is beautiful, and the people running it are friendly and welcoming. It felt like the farming heart of Friesland. The washing facilities were clean with plenty of hot water in the showers. We had all we needed. The surrounding fields are full of bird life and the local village is lovely. A great beginning to our holiday.

Positiv A lovely site, plenty of space and good variety of spaces to set up in. Very friendly staff. Immaculately clean facilities with plenty of hot water on tap. Access to lovely walks around the coast. And skylarks singing all day!

Positiv Very sweet surroundings, nice level pitch, plenty space, young and mature trees, lots of birds - as well as seeing blackbirds we heard a cuckoo and an owl! Facilities including dishwashing station and long-drop loo were kept very clean.

Negativ Dogs barking from the kennels was a bit of a surprise but that's down to me not reading the whole description properly. And it didn't take long for the noise to pretty much fade into the background.

Positiv Super friendly staff, spotless facilities for loo, shower, washing up. Useful to have a separate kitchen/dining area although we didn't use it ourselves. Great tent pitch, plenty room, nice and flat and clean. Nice walks / bike rides locally (canal and aqueduct) and very well placed for visiting sites / cities like Edinburgh.
