Positiv Wonderful site - I loved it and will definitely be back. It wasn’t busy when I stayed but if I was travelling at a busy time I’d book an electric pitch to ensure I got a flat pitch. The communal area is fab - every campsite should have one! Beautiful walks around the meres right from the gate.

Negativ Having to leave :(

Positiv Everything! One of the best campsites I’ve used - flat pitches, lovely staff, spacious and great amenities. The delivery of the fire pit and wood to the camper was an added bonus as a solo camper with a dog. And speaking of dogs - he loved the exercise field and river walk! Would totally recommend this site

Vom Platzbetreiber: Thank your for your lovely comments so pleased you enjoyed your stay and apologies I didn’t get chance for a chat. I need to remember Stanney Woods when doggie owners ask, it’s a nice walk isn’t it and just about walking distance as well. Thanks again hope to see you again soon 👌🙏🙂
