Positiv Everything about this place was wonderful! The most serene beautiful location and stunning, cosy and peaceful yurt. Could easily have stayed for much longer. Our hosts were incredibly welcoming and friendly and the wonderful touch with the breakfast hamper was really appreciated. Would love to go back and would definitely recommend.

Positiv Lovely pop up site. Basic facilities but that was all we needed for 1 night and the pub is right next door if in real need of ‘proper’ toilets / running water. Having direct access to the lake was magical and why we picked the spot. Coniston is so lovely to swim in, the temperature was great and was the perfect wake up.

Positiv Great location, facilities were all in great condition and was a great campsite all round. We booked a riverside pitch, which was utterly picturesque. It became quite the adventure as it was torrential rain the entire time but we made it work! The owner was very kind and offered to move our booking to the main campsite closer to the facilities and the warm/dry but we were up for the adventure. With better weather, the riverside spot would have been even more beautiful - with fire pit etc…it’s really secluded, accessible only via a path and a separate private road. There’s a compost loo but the other facilities and running water etc are all up at the main site (which wasn’t an issue for us, but just worth noting).
