I say to the reader, please when you came to us don't follow navigator indications

Positiv Booked here for 1 night but stayed for 3! Pleasant, small, simple site with basic amenities. Adequate toilet and shower facilities. Nice seating area with stone barbeques and long tables and benches. Small, basic cool off pool (no toilet or changing facilities there). Nice area alongside pool with simple seats and tables. Nice seating areas, in or out of shade around simple cafe.

Lovely relaxed atmosphere and very friendly, helpful couple running the site.

Convenient bus service into Cogoletto town (which we really liked - small, non-touristy, but pretty and a lovely pebbly sea-front). Buses only every 90 mins or so, but cheap (need to buy tickets via App in advance).

Negativ It was not a problem for us as it was small enough to get around, but the site is on a hill so walking around is on a bit an incline. Wifi only available immediately next to Reception.

Steep climb up drive from main road if you use the local bus (again manageable for us despite joint issues as its not too far). NOTE that taxi's in Cogoletto are very sparse, and non available into the evening when we were there!

Neighbouring site has loud music on some nights till midnight.

Although the toilet / shower area was checked and cleaned throughout the day, more care was needed as scum and muck was building up at times in the grid outside the shower cubicles.

Positiv A simple and family-friendly atmosphere, from the very first welcome at the entrance to the moment we left. The couple managing the place were friendly and patient, as were the other guests.
The facilities are simple yet efficient and clean – showers, toilets, seating areas, and the pool. The food at the bar was also simple and tasty.
We would come back with no hesitation in our next trip to the area

Negativ One downside: there was a loud party hosted by the neighbors that lasted until midnight, with some truly terrible singers 🤦.

Negativ Very small pitches, no room for anything more than a two man tent. Had the guideline of the tent pegged out onto our pitch and other guests were walking through our pitch to get to their chalet and tried to remove the guideline multiple times. A large camping group dominated all the facilities playing loud obnoxious music, with a number of people walking around all night. The camp owner said the noise would be finished by 12pm, the music kept playing untill 1:30 am!! The bathrooms were also filthy, mud everywhere, toilets and bathrooms had dirty socks and underwear left there. Do not recommend unless you like to live in a loud dirty place. Also within close proximity to a neighbouring campsite which also displayed a loud attitude and lack of respect for other campers

Vom Platzbetreiber: The pitches exactly match the sizes indicated on pitchup, so they are not small. Your tent was set up poorly with a peg positioned in the adjacent pitch. (I saw it too, but I didn’t mention it out of courtesy) Obviously, others were removing your peg, it was dangerous, and the reason is not yours. In a campsite, there are other people who, like you, may need to go to the toilets even at night; if they disturb you, you should not go to campgrounds or go to empty campsites. It is not true that our bathrooms are dirty. Our staff is present in our bathrooms all day and always clean. There are also sinks for laundry in the bathrooms. The laundry that disturbed you belonged to another customer who was washing it. It is not true that the music stopped at 1:30 AM. According to the authorities' rules, the music obligatority must end at 12:00 PM. Your statement is completely incorrect.

Negativ En meget kedelig oplevelse. Blev dirigeret ind på en for lille plads, hvor lygtebommen blev revet af. Vi betalte for strøm, men kunne ikke bruge f.eks. kaffemaskine, da det mørklagde de omkringliggende, og vi blev bedt om ikke at bruge den, da der var lav strømkapacitet. Det har vi ikke oplevet andre steder, hvor vi har betalt for strøm.

Vom Platzbetreiber: I'm sorry that you didn't feel comfortable with us, but the sizes of the pitches are those indicated on the Pitchup site and they are not small. It is also indicated that we cannot provide more than 2 Amper for electricity. Regarding the pool, we take your comments into account and will include some photos.
