Positiv Very friendly welcome. Nice swimming pool. Self service possibility (we had a coffee and an ice cream). Quite spacious campsite with shade. Clean facilities. Toilet paper, dish soap etc. included. Nice surroundings.

Positiv Lovely campsite. Host were hospitable and very friendly. Arthur is adorable (owners dog). Nice walk to the lake and through the woods. The surrounding countryside is beautiful 😍. Supermarket only 10 minute drive away. Would definitely go there again. Dave, Michelle and Doug the pug.

Positiv Friendly welcome and open plan field of pitches - we had a nice corner pitch with some shade. Great pool with several loungers. Clean facilities with music in the shower / wash up block.

Negativ Quite isolated - but knew that when booking.
Unruly and unsupervised Dutch kids running round the pool and throwing toys about- not the campsite’s fault but still a dislike.

Positiv We had a warm welcome and nothing was too much trouble. We liked the clean swimming. The open-plan style campsite. We had an electrical hookup.
The site was clean, including showers and toilets. The site was quiet with lots of shade, if needed, from the walnut trees. Although off the beaten track, not far from Cognac and other local attractions.

Positiv Small site with good no frills facilities. Swimming pool onsite a nice addition. Lovely helpful English hosts. Easy road cycling to an excellent Voie Vert cycleway. Interesting birds and amazing bats at dusk.

Negativ No option to order morning bread etc. Nearest bakery is quite a drive away (but still worth the journey).

Positiv This may seem like a review from some French camping brochure but if you are looking for peace and tranquility amongst vinyards and sunflower fields then this place is definitely for you. The toilet block is the best weve seen throughout our trip to France with music, hot water for showers and washing, handsoap and yes toilet rolls and seats! The swimming pool is perfect and much needed on a hot day. Pitches are set in a large area with shrubs and trees for shade or sun.A great warm welcome if youre near Lamerac.
