Camping Les Vosges Du Nord

Positiv Nice welcome on arrival. We got a pitch with a nice view over Oberonn. It was quite muddy due to the recent rain, but fine for a couple of days. The facilities were also ok. I noticed an earlier review about the showers being too hot and the management cooling them down. Given that it's now autumn and it was particularly cold, the showers felt just about warm enough - maybe time to adjust the temperature back up. There was a restaurant but we didn't try it.

Negativ Nothing - although it seems you only get 10 minutes free WiFi before buying a voucher. Luckily we have sim cards but others might find that difficult.

Positiv Quiet site, well spaced out enjoyed swim , sauna & steam ideal during heavy rain. Very well priced. Spa options in pool not working but maybe that needs asking for before pool use? or were not on in quiet times.

Negativ Got wet paint from reception door on expensive jacket on arrival which would not remove even with acetone used at the time. There was a notice on door but on arrival was not looking to read it after long journey. Not best time in rain to paint door as it won't dry. Doing it in good weather would mean door could be propped open. pool area a bit shabby but it was end of season

Positiv Nice site, lovely views. Clean facilities. The pool was meant to be closed when we visited but as there were quite a few people still booked on the site, the pool was kept open which was a nice bonus. Nice pool,sauna etc. Bar & restaurant also on site with reasonable prices.

Nous savons que certains de nos emplacements ne sont pas des plus stables, d'autant que le camping est lui-même en pente douce. Nous tentons de faire le maximum pour améliorer cette stabilité.

Positiv Children’s facilities were excellent, plenty of space to run and play, great play equipment and variety. Swimming pool was good, nice size but no shallow area.
Lovely area to explore, enough to visit in surrounding areas.

Negativ Pool was a bit too cold and changing rooms were freezing and very small.

The pool water is between 28°C and 31°C, and our changing rooms are cold because other campers do not close the entrance door. This cools the room and creates a strong draft.

Positiv Big pitches, good shower and toilet blocks, with added bonus of good swimming pool sauna and steam room. Staff friendly. On site restaurant food average.
