Positiv This campsite is well taken care off. The setup is very spacious and has a nice atmosphere. We loved the warm shower, the compost toilet and the walk by the river. The host is very friendly and welcoming.

Positiv The site is so peaceful & tranquil, time stands still. Cym Wye is the perfect antidote to a very stressful life, surrounded by Mother Nature in all her wonderful glory. The warmest of welcomes from the owner, who always has time to chat & suggest places to visit or things to do. Eco friendly in every way, but in no way does this compromise facilities or cleanliness, spotless compost toilets & hot showers tucked away in the woods. Surrounded by the woods, the river, the sheep & clean, fresh Welsh air, you could ask for nothing more from Cym Wye. The owners have thought of everything, from solar lights in the woods lighting the paths, to wheelbarrows to move your tent etc from car to pitch, to a fire pit for cooking under the trees. Sshhhh, don’t tell anyone incase it gets busy!😘

Positiv really easy to book and nice out of the way campsite once you get there everything is marked up nice and eassy with suitable access.great views and plenty of wild life to look around with builth wells show grouond and town a 10min max drive away

Positiv Rare find with a very relaxed atmosphere, having the fire pits, picnic tables and hammocks in the woods was a very lovely touch and was our go to location on the site throughout our stay. Great for young children as they were able to roam freely through a small section of the woods to keep them entertained

Positiv Absolutely fantastic stay! From the gorgeous views in the most picturesque site we’ve stayed. If you love nature then this is the campsite for you. It was so safe for my young children to run around and play in bluebell wood with a den and swings. Baby lambs everywhere this time of year. River Wye right at the bottom of the site and perfect to paddle in. Even the compost loos were so regularly cleaned they don’t even smell, the site was so quiet I even kept the door open and stared out at nature 😂 We will be back soon.

Positiv Easy to get to but can't hear any main roads. Clearly set out pitches. Wonderful wooded area with firepit available for use, fire barbecue available, covered picnic table. Several picnic tables. Access to the Wye valley walk along the river. Would definitely go back. No WiFi but we wouldn't expect that in a site like this so it didn't bother us.

Positiv Amazing secluded site, with great 'wild camping' feel, but a lovely warm shower and toilets in the woods. Also right on the Lon Las Cymru cycle route that we were following.

Positiv Location, set up and people running the site are fantastic. It was better than my expectations and has rekindled my interest in going camping again. It was a tonic being able to find a 'simple' campsite that had everything you needed (water, warm shower, toilet) and no electric hook ups, music, noise. I could just relax and listen to the sounds of birds and animals while looking at a dark sky. It felt like a real luxury in this day and age.

Negativ Nothing - just disappointed that I was leaving
