Positiv Great campsite - plenty room between pitches, facilities were kept clean and nice atmosphere. The donkeys and horses were a hit with our 1.5 year old. Lovely hosts. Will definitely be back.

Negativ Very basic portaloos and one makeshift shower that required you to turn the gas on and ignite the boiler which didn't work .

Positiv The peaceful quiet grounds, the donkeys and the owners were wonderful! So lovely and accommodating, really considerate when we were running late and showed us where everything was before we pitched our tent! Had the best sleep there out of our entire trip!

Negativ The shower was cold, couldn’t figure out how to do it, but the cold shower was refreshing haha!

Positiv Stayed here with my two sons for one night. It’s an excellent little camp site, my boys really enjoyed the donkeys and the lady who runs the site was very friendly and let the boys feed the donkeys their breakfast which they said was was the highlight of our trip! Facilities are basic but very clean. We didn’t use shower but chemical toilets were clean and there were enough for the size of the site (no queues). Bins, sink, drinking water and a shelter for eating were also available. Site is pretty level, easy to get pegs into the ground. Owners gave good tips on where to eat locally and we had top notch fish and chips on Gullane beach. Would definitely stay here again.

Positiv I was looking for a place to take my nephews on their first camping trip; somewhere close to Yellowcraig Beach that had toilet and shower facilities, and this site ticked all those boxes. I couldn't have picked a better spot! It was beautiful, quiet, and all the animals (ponies, miniature donkeys, rabbits, birds) kept my nephews well entertained while we set up camp. Donna was such a friendly and welcoming host, and provided some excellent recommendations for places to visit and food in the area! She even let the kids at the site help feed the donkeys on our last morning, which was a massive hit with them! We'll definitely be back!

Positiv My daughter and I stayed for 2 nights camping. Donna was really welcoming and helpful when we arrived. The site was immaculate and the pitch was a great size. Big enough for a large tent and a second car when my wife joined us for the second night. The campsite is in a nice spot with great views of the sunset each night. My daughter loved the donkeys and ponies. I would highly recommend this quiet peaceful site. We’ll be back!

Positiv Warm welcome from Donna, space between other campers, clean loos, friendly donkeys on site.

Negativ Nothing, if we were staying longer or if the campsite was busier there aren’t many toilets but this wasn’t an issue - we really enjoyed our stay.

En effet, L'accueil hyper chaleureux et la gentillesse de Donna et Andrew est incroyable. Ils sont attentionnés, a l'écoute et très aidant. N'hésitez pas à leur poser des questions ils seront de bon conseils.

Concernant le cadre il est idyllique, un terrain très simple mais parfaitement situé en pleins milieu de la campagne écossaise. A 10 minutes à pied de la gare pour aller à Edinburgh.

Les sanitaires sont très propres, nettoyer tous les jours, eau chaude à disposition.

Le petit plus, 2 ânes trop mignon, et des petits lapins gambadent dans le champs.

Positiv Donna and Andrew were very welcoming - when we said we would be arriving later than anticipated, they told us not to worry just to keep them updated.

The donkeys were cute and took an interest in our dog, they kept racing him as he went past their enclosure.

When I had an accident in my car, they let me wait there until a recovery truck came to get us for our journey home. Could not have been more helpful and hospitable.
