Positiv Small, quiet, well organised, pleasant location, birds visiting, impeccable facilities.

Positiv Pitch clean, very nice welcome and very informative about what was available in the area. Fantastic washing and shower facilities, prob the best I have seen. Lovely dishwasher and relaxing area, immaculately clean. Washing and drying facilities available on site.

Positiv The beautiful scenery surrounding the site and walks available with my dog. The shower and toilet facilities were very good and clean. Water available and recycling facilities I liked. I liked the extra long extension cable being there as I only have a short cable.

Negativ The only thing that would have been helpful to me is a dishwashing facility as I have a tiny camper, but I did manage to cope.

Negativ No washing up area which isn’t a deal breaker but people in camper vans washing up in toilets

Positiv beautiful location, no noise except the birds and the cows munching the grass..bliss. Toilets were warm and clean, well stocked with the essentials if you'd run out. Will certainly return recommend and return to this site. We paid by using their small deposit box outside the toilet block, clever idea.

Negativ No points to dislike about the site at all, but the usual moan...people in big fancy camper vans using the facilities leaving other visitors who have no toilets or showers waiting!!?

Negativ Remote unless you are happy to travel in your car or camper for a day out … but on the plus side this made it super peaceful and quiet x

There is a walk which is 2 1/2 miles on a back road to Castle Douglas
There are plenty cycle runs that leave from the Farm using all the back roads
If you’d like to go further, yes you do need to use your car
