Positiv Setting was lovely surrounded by woods it felt private with the older trees the views and feel of the site was nice

Negativ The pitches feel very close together leading to a sense of being crammed in. On arrival the site was extremely busy and even though it's a large area I felt hemmed in. Thankfully on Sunday it emptied a lot and was much more enjoyable and relaxing.The site has one toilet/shower block which was a bit of a walk but clean and adequate.i think it's probably a case of wrong site for us as we were looking for a relaxing getaway and the site is family oriented and the play area looked great for the kids.many of the folk we spoke to have been going for many years and love it so they obviously cater to the family beside very well.

Positiv The site is amazing - the most attractive I've ever stayed on! The trees are stunning!! Also, staff are friendly.

Negativ It's quite a long walk into town with no pavement - but this is not something the site is responsible for!!

Positiv We have just returned from a very last minute 1 night stay in our campervan - what a beautiful site.

We stayed on a grass non electric pitch. On arrival reception was closed but this didn’t really matter as our pitch was displayed on the board outside along with a map to easily find the pitch.

The facilities are clean and there is plenty of sinks for washing up.

There is also a Tesco 5 minutes down the road and plenty of walking trails.

It was nice to have the late evening sun too, and the skies were clear so we could see lots of stars.

We hope to return again someday.

Negativ The shower pressure is a bit iffy but perhaps it was due to many being in use at the same time.

Positiv Absolutely everything! From start to finish our stay was wonderful, we received a very friendly welcome when we arrived. The site itself is very well maintained and there is gorgeous countryside around it. The showers and toilets were plentiful and very clean. We didn't have children with us but if we had then the play park would have been a massive hit, it is excellent and looks like it suits every age. We will definitely be back :)
