Positiv Fantastic farm shop, pricey but the quality and taste of food is worth it. The site was quiet and staff friendly. Grass for site is short and well kept.

Negativ Toilets needed a clean and some rubbish scattered around on site near dog poo bin and where I had parked. Long nettles near the chemical disposal point and I stung myself. Bins and showers aren’t near the field itself, worth keeping in mind for logistics of your stay. Signs stating that driving vehicles down the path required to the showers not permitted before 7:30am. No obvious signs for water fill up and didn’t find water taps on the field I was parked in with the toilet block. Might have missed these! Grey water is disposed of where chemical disposal is and no drive over drain suitable, also worth keeping in mind if people have an under slug grey water tank.

Positiv Owners were lovely and accompanied my late arrival.
Pitches were very spacious and the site was quiet, clean and tidy.
Being on my own, I felt safe.

Positiv The bloke here is very friendly and helpful and set in a good place with lovely animals onsite that you can see

Negativ Pitches are not level so you’ll need to be prepared and it’s quiet muddy so need wellies, not much to do for kids could do with a little play area on the large grass pitch signal is also very poor here

Positiv The hosts were very nice and attentive. I am sure if the weather had been better the location would have been great. The views were lovely. The shop was amazing and the cafe/restaurant was very nice, although he cafe could have done with longer opening hours. They closed at 15:00. The fact that it was a working farm was great, especially if you had kids. We don't mind paying for a shower providing the area is kept clean and tidy. I appreciate that customers could help in this area.

Negativ The toilet blocks certainly need attention. The location of them to the camping site, not good. There was no hot water in the sinks, the showers were good although no heating. A mop and bucket would have helped keep them clean as people could have mopped the shower area when finished. There didn't seem to be any staff cleaning of the facilities.

Positiv Good sized pitch. Pitches weren't allocated, so it was nice to pick our own. Lovely farm shop. We didn't visit the cafe, but it was nice having that option. Loved looking at the goats, donkeys, pigs and cows. Toilets were a bit dated, but clean. Owners were very friendly.
We probably wouldn't stay again, but will definitely come back to visit the shop and cafe.
Very reasonably priced.

Negativ Not really a criticism, but because this is a working farm there was quite a lot of noise from a radio and generators coming from the cow shed. There was also a strong fishy smell when we arrived. This later turned into a more normal farmyard smell, which was ok.

Positiv We needed a last minute accommodation and found this site. It was such a pleasure to stay here a very lovely and friendly stay. The pod was clean and the bed was a comfortable nights stay would happily stay here again in the future.

Negativ Was only one chair outside the pod. Wasn't to much of an issue as we was returning from a camping trip and had a car full

Positiv Excellent site - staff really helpful with issues - we encountered some trying to charge our EV. The farm has an EV charge point.

It’s a working farm - with all the animals, community farm shop and the full English in the hayloft cafe comes recommended.

It’s quite a small site - bit of a walk to the facilities - not a dislike, simply a comment.

Hard standing appreciated as it was very wet, we’d have otherwise got bogged down.
