Dreamfields Glamping

Luxury tents, starry skies, campfire evenings… and sea views on top of all that too? Nope, not a dream but Dreamfields Glamping, a swish glamping site in a secluded south Devon spot 10 minutes’ drive from Budleigh Salterton. This stunning pop-up site is in the grounds of a working organic farm on the edge of the village of Otterton and up on the cliffs looking out over the sea. That location also means easy access to walks on the South West Coast Path, boat trips or days of pottering around on beaches and in rockpools. You may well wish to spend a fair amount of time on site too, simply soaking up those views and the fresh air. Firepits are provided to keep you warm if you’re still sitting out after dark, or you could cuddle up with loved ones to take in a screening at the outdoor cinema. Days get off to a good start with breakfasts delivered to your tent, and there’s fresh barista coffee and hot herbal teas to keep you going until it’s time to settle on a hay bale with drinks from the bar. As for the tents themselves, they’re as excellent as the scenery: each one has a proper made-up double bed (with air beds for any extra guests), rugs, vintage crockery, lanterns, bunting, fresh flowers and phone charging sockets, plus an outdoor seating area for your alfresco drinks or meals. Clean toilets and hot showers are a short stroll away, and you can borrow all sorts of games kit to entertain yourselves with croquet, badminton, table tennis or giant Jenga.
