Immaculate utility blocks with generous amount of time on the shower push buttons! Buses from right outside the gate going to the nearby beaches and villages. Beautiful view across the estuary and dunes

Negativ A second chemical waste disposal should be located in the top field because it’s too far to walk with a heavy portaloo.

Just to clarify regarding the Elsan facilities, we do have two chemical disposal points on site - one in the corner of the top field and another halfway down the second field. Their locations are marked on the site maps.
Our staff are also always happy to help and would have been more than pleased to direct you to the nearest point had you asked, We’re sorry that this wasn’t clear during your stay, and we hope to welcome you back again in the future.

Positiv Staff very friendly. Great sized Pitches, had choice of pitch. Spotless facilities. Dog walking area and several dog poo bins. Campsite very tidy.
Lovely views across the Burrows. 30 minutes walk into Braunton and Tarka Trail. Range of independent shops and Tesco Superstore. Squires Fish and Chip shop not to be missed. We enjoyed the walks, from the campsite, across the Burrows, Saunton Sands with views of Estuary.

Positiv Very friendly staff love the little shop with local ice cream milk etc couple of food stands very tidy site plenty of showers and toilets not like some that have three or so so nightmare

Positiv Lovely grounds very well looked after and friendly staff

Negativ Toilets and Showers could do with an update. Although clean several times had a cold shower and overall looking very dated. Not a big issue but think it does need some updating overall

We’re sorry to hear you experienced a cold shower. This is the first time we’ve been made aware of an issue with the showers, and had you mentioned it to us during your stay, we would have been very happy to look into it and see if we could resolve the problem for you at the time.

We appreciate your comments regarding the facilities. While we’re unable to undertake a full refurbishment at present, we do work hard to keep everything clean and well maintained.

Positiv Great little camp site. Staff are very helpful and nothing is too much trouble.
Lovely clean showers and toilets. Brilliant little self serve shop on site as well as food van. Have had 3 trips here this year
